LOON WATCHES 2:00 P.M. - 4:00P.M.  Fisherman’s Point TSP

Come enjoy a winter’s morning and one of nature’s most beautiful birds.  These guys stick around sometimes into April, so come and enjoy an early spring morning and watch the loons then too.

EAGLE TOURS 8:00 A.M. .- 11:00 A.M.

Gather at Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge for a brief talk about our refuge system.  Then we will caravan through the refuge to view our nations symbol.  There are active nests on the refuge and we will get to view them through our scopes

Come  see the  fabled birds of " On Golden Pond,"  We have been privileged to host four of the  five species of Loons found in North America  here at Lake Tenkiller.  Come visit with the naturalist and meet some of our local Audubon members as we observe these beautiful birds.

TsP CLEAN UP and Trash Hunt 10:00 a.m.

                Come out and help us clean up the park.  There will be 10

                Specially marked pieces of trash, each will be numbered and

                Coded to match a prize.  Registration begins at 10:00.    Tenkiller State Park and Park Partner's will be providing the

                Participants with a hotdog lunch, so come out and have some  fun.

May 21

Tenkiller State Park’s Annual Fishing Clinic 10:00 a.m.

                Come on over and enjoy a spring day learning about fishing.  Registration begins at 10:00.

                Prize drawings will be held just before lunch, provided by Tahlequah Wal-Mart and Tenkiller Park

Partners.   Tenkiller Park Partner's will be having a Hotdog lunch  Sale  to raise money for improvements in the park.   PRIZE DRAWINGS FOR TONS OF COOOOOOL STUFF WILL BE HELD JUST BEFORE LUNCH.  Children must by between the ages of 4-13.  Call for more  information: 918-489-5641

                Come wonder at the thousands of Snow Geese that visit this refuge every year.  Arrival of geese depends on weather

                Conditions so please call before the tour day to check on geese numbers.
